Bygone memories, of which we have passed and forgotten, “lost” within time and our own minds. Memories that overlap through the years, blurred lines from where one begins and another ends. The recurring motions of a birthday — the cake, the song, the lights, the sound of cheers and laughter, the warmth that embraces you as you’re surrounded by loved ones; so many different pieces of memories, and yet they come together as one, strung together by their likeness.
We used VR to create an immersive sensory reconstruction of various memories of our birthdays, which may seem foreign to the viewer, but not entirely unfamiliar.
